The brawl that started it all is finally available on Virtual Console in North America. Originally released on Nintendo 64, Super Smash Bros. can be on your Wii for only 1,000 Wii Points.

WarioWare: D.I.Y., the make-your-own-microgames game, will hit North America on March 28, according to Nintendo of America's early 2010 release schedule. The WiiWare version, WarioWare: D.I.Y. Showcase, is currently scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2010. Both versions have been available in Japan since April 29 of this year.

Super Mario Kart arrives on the North American Virtual Console today, more than 17 years after the original was released on Super NES. It has been available in Japan since June, and it is set to be released later this week in Europe.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii jumps onto store shelves across North America today, just three days after it was released in Australia. It is scheduled to be released next in Europe (November 20th) and then in Japan (December 3rd).

Today, Sega released both the Wii and DS versions of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games. This is the second Olympics-based video game in which rival mascots Mario and Sonic appear together. The first game, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, sold more than 10 million copies worldwide.

Yesterday, Nintendo of America announced that New Super Mario Bros. Wii will release on November 15 in North America. The European release date, announced today, is set for November 20.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii was revealed in June at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo.

Out since February 11 in Japan, Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story was finally released in North America yesterday. Bowser's Inside Story is the third game in the Mario & Luigi series and is compatible with all Nintendo DS models.

Earlier today, Nintendo of Europe announced an October 9 release for Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. Nintendo of America still has the game's North American release date set for "Fall 2009," though most retailers show it coming out on September 14.

With the 2010 Winter Olympics still seven months away, Sega has set release dates for its video game based on the international event. Both the Wii and DS versions of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games will be released in North America on October 13, in Europe on October 16, and in Australia on October 15.

New Mario titles unveiled at E3 12:28:30 PM CT [Deezer]
New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! were shown for the first time during Nintendo's E3 press conference today at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

- New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a 2-D platformer that will support four players at once. Mario, Luigi, Blue Toad, and Yellow Toad were shown during the live demo. Its worldwide release is currently set for holiday 2009.
- Super Mario Galaxy 2 for Wii looks similar to its predecessor, but this time Yoshi joins Mario on his adventure.
- Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!, the third in the Mario vs DK series, will be available on DSiWare Monday, June 8.

Also shown were two more DS games that have been out in Japan for a while: Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story (Mario & Luigi RPG 3 in Japan) and WarioWare D.I.Y. (Made in Me in Japan). Bowser's Inside Story is currently planned for a Fall release in both North America and Europe.

DK revisits the jungle in New Play Control! Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, released today for Wii. Originally released on the GameCube, Jungle Beat joins the "New Play Control!" series at an MSRP of $29.99.

Nintendo of America prescribes a small dose of puzzle gaming with Dr. Mario Express, part of this week's DSiWare update. Starting today, you can download Dr. Mario Express for 500 Nintendo DSi Points (about $5).

The DSiWare launch title WarioWare: Snapped! is now available in Europe and Australia, where the DSi was released on April 3 and April 2, respectively. In North America, the DSi, DSiWare, and WarioWare: Snapped! are set to launch on April 5.

Nintendo of America announced yesterday that New Play Control! Donkey Kong Jungle Beat will release in North America on May 5. The release of Mario Power Tennis and Pikmin on March 9 will kick off the New Play Control! series in North America.

Switching gears to the Nintendo DS, Mario & Luigi RPG 3 was not included in NOA's latest game lineup. The game was released February 11 in Japan.

Mario and Sonic will meet once again in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, announced today for Wii and Nintendo DS. This time, the Italian plumber and blue hedgehog will head to Vancouver, Canada to compete in events based on the upcoming 2010 Olympic Winter Games such as Alpine Skiing and Speed Skating.

According to the press release, the Wii version will have Wii Balance Board support. Both the Wii and DS versions are scheduled for late 2009.

Mario & Luigi RPG 3 is out now in Japan. Nintendo of America has yet to announce a final release date and title for a North American release.
