Overview

Nintendo Puzzle Collection is a collection of three previously-released puzzle games: Dr. Mario (using graphics from Dr. Mario 64), Yoshi's Cookie (with new graphics!), and Panel De Pon (long story short, the original version of Tetris Attack). Strangely enough, all three are related to Mario.

All three games will feature versus modes where two to four players can compete head-to-head for ultimate puzzle-master bragging rights.

Game Boy Advance connectivity
Using the GBA Cable, players will be able to download NES-ish versions of the games onto a GBA for portable puzzle action. Also, the GBA will somehow be able to be used as an optional controller for the puzzle games on the GameCube.

Nintendo Puzzle Collection will be released February 7 in Japan. Disturbingly enough, there is no release date scheduled for the U.S. It's been a while, but is another puzzle game going to be stranded in Japan? We'll keep you posted.
