Super Mario Odyssey and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe were officially announced yesterday during the Nintendo Switch Presentation in Tokyo, Japan.

Super Mario Odyssey is an all-new 3D plaformer starring Mario. This time, Mario will be able to throw his cap, which he can then use as a platform to jump across gaps or bounce to higher areas. As seen in the trailer, Mario will visit a variety of locations, including a bustling city where he can interact with cars and human beings. Odyssey's release date is currently scheduled for the 2017 holiday season.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will bring back all the racers and tracks from Mario Kart 8, including the ones from both DLC packs. Joining the race are Inkling Boy and Inkling Girl from Splatoon, as well as Bowser Jr., Dry Bones, and King Boo. Other new content includes added items (Feather and Boo) and a revamped battle mode with Balloon Battle and Bob-omb Blast. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will launch on April 28.

Both games were briefly shown, but not named, in the First Look at Nintendo Switch trailer released back in October.
